Clackmannanshire Field Studies Society
CFSS was founded in 1970 after attempting to revive the Alloa Society of Natural Science and Archaeology established in 1865. The society’s aims are “to promote interest in the environment and heritage of the local area”.

Native Woodlands Discussion Group
The group covers native woodland ecology, management, history and conservation, is focused on N Britain, Scotland especially, and always welcomes new members. We have an annual excursion and an annual woodland history conference.

Perthshire Society of Natural Science
The Society was founded in 1867 to further the aims of exploring, collecting and recording the geology and natural history of Perthshire.  Its collection is now held by Perth Museum and Art Gallery.  They continue to publish Transactions, organise field meetings and winter lectures.
